BOOK REVIEW - Stay by Hilary Wynne

The Alexa Reed Series

 by Hilary Wynne

5 out of 5 Stars

Note:  I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

If I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would.  I can start this review with one word - 3 syllables - A - MA - ZING!!!
This was such a great book!  Although I'm not usually a fan of books that don't completely wrap up the story at the end, there was enough of a finish that I was okay.

In the world of Alexa Reed, there is plenty of pain and suffering.  More than one person should have to deal with in one lifetime.  And having to deal with that pain and suffering has become a daily ordeal for Lexie.  Up until this point, she has had her friends to lean on.  One of her closest friends, Luke, has been there for her the past year while she has dealt with everything.  Everyone feels it is time for Lexie to get back to the business of living life and going out.  She goes out with the girls one night and runs in to hot Latino hotel and club owner Julian Bauer.  Thus begins a tumultuous relationship.  Julian is never deterred by Alexa and all of her craziness, he stays when the going gets tough.  Not only does he stay, he pushes through and talks her through the hard times to get to the bottom of what is bothering her.  He wants to know about her, and cares about her.  He proves what true love is all about and shows how a true man should act - both in and out of the bedroom.
The reader finds them self pulling for Lexie to make it through and share her full story with Julian.  You find yourself wanting the best for them, and that means them making it in the end, because they are what is best for each other.  Hilary Wynne does an amazing job of drawing the reader in from the beginning of the story and keeping you there.  There is never a dull moment and you never find yourself wanting to skip a section or wanting to skip ahead.  She does a great job of keeping you enthralled and involved in the story line and wanting to find out what happens next.

I look forward to the next book in the Alexa Reed Series - Hold On.  That review is coming soon!!
